There are few timbers more decorative than burr walnut. This large two drawer coffee table with traditional solid plate handles of the period is a fine example of how to use burr walnut timbers. Burr veneers have been used on the drawer and leg faces whilst the top has been book matched before being banded in contrasting crown walnut bandings.
