Traditional Walnut Furniture

Walnut wood has long been a favourite timber of traditional furniture and cabinet makers. Although not a large furniture collection, all of our walnut antique reproduction furniture is veneered in the finest English and European burr walnut wood timbers.

The rich golden colour associated with walnut antiques of the Queen Anne period would normally take a lifetime to achieve; however, with an intricate bleaching process and some tender loving care we at Charles Barr Furniture have perfected our walnut furniture using our W6 hand bleached distressed finish which enables us to provide an authentic, aged, golden nutty brown, walnut antique finish to these furniture reproductions - seen mainly today in museums and traditional antique galleries.
